We are excited to announce our IDIA Burn-for-Free Node Campaign. By participating in this campaign, you will be able to burn your IDIA for FREE Sophon Node(s).

By running a node on Sophon, it is intended that you will be eligible to earn a share of up to 20% of SOPH token emissions over a 3-year period (assuming continued participation as a node operator for the duration of that period). Node holders may also receive potential airdrops from ecosystem participants or by participating in events held by contributors.

All participants for this IDIA Burning campaign are required to complete KYC verification. You can find the detailed guide here.

Residents from countries or regions such as the US, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Syria, Iran, North Korea, and other UN-sanctioned countries are excluded from participating.

How to participate in the campaign

  • Visit Impossible Launchpad and connect your wallet. You will be able to see a specific IDIA burn card.
  • During the Burn Period ():
  • Specify the fixed rate of IDIA tokens you want to burn (up to a max of 58,950 IDIA) 
  • Confirm the burn transaction.
  • The Sophon Node(s) you receive will depend on the amount of IDIA burned. Be sure to burn the exact amount specified below:
  • 11,790 IDIA = 1 node
  • 23,580 IDIA = 2 nodes
  • 35,370 IDIA = 3 nodes
  • 47,160 IDIA = 4 nodes
  • 58,950 IDIA = 5 nodes

Rollover Rule for Fuel IDIA Burners Who Didn't Purchase

For IDIA holders who participated in the IDIA Burn-for-Allowance campaign for Fuel Allowance but didn’t manage to make a purchase, your burned IDIA will automatically roll over to the Burn-for-Free Node campaign with the following rules:

  • IDIA Burned > 11,790:
    • Guaranteed node airdrop
    • Raffle entry based on the remaining amount burned
  • IDIA Burned > 100:
    • Raffle entry based on the amount burned (the more you burned, the higher your chances of winning)
    • If not selected in the raffle, eligible to purchase node(s) at 50% OFF
  • IDIA Burned ≤ 100:
    • Full IDIA refund

Note: Raffle results will be announced soon.

Important Notes
1. [ ! ] Burning IDIA is different from Staking IDIA. Burning means that you will forfeit this allocation and will not be able to receive this back.

2. All burns are final. Make sure you double-check the amount of IDIA you want to burn before confirming.

3. This Campaign is on an FCFS basis, so make sure to act fast.

4. The actual IDIA token burn will occur within 72 hours after the node distribution.

In the event of technical issues or unfair circumstances, Impossible Finance reserves the right to cancel the campaign and refund participants.
